Wei Jia Birthday
1) Today Wei Jia birthday?
Answer : no.
2) Then why blog?
Answer : Because tomorrow is her birthday.
3) But why i today i still havnt prepare any present for her yet?
Answer : Because for the pass days & weeks, i had been messaging her quiet a few times. But didn't manage to get a good response from her. So very hard for me to arrange a celebration for her, dont mentioned celebrate. Passing her the present is also rather hard.
Today had a rather busy day at work, i not sure what i have done. But i know i leave office quite late. How come i remember i leave quite late? Because i usually leave office at 6pm, take train reach Tiong Bahru will be around 6.35pm. But today i remember i 6.45pm just left office, cant recall what i did. I reached Tiong Bahru Plaza at around 7.15pm. I am planning to quickly get some present for her. Then set off to Delta to swim, hoping that can see her. Then i pass her the present.
Walking round at Tiong Bahru Plaza, didn't manage to get any gift in mind. After around 1hour of looking around, i finally manage to hit something in my mind. Taking a look at comic mart i remember i heard her saying once, that she like to hang things on her hp. So that is 1 or the present piece i would get. Thinking just that only look so dull. So i went to look around at Popular, Jamed at the gift corner. I saw empty bottle, to put stars or some other things inside. I saw Key Chain and some small small soft toys.
At first i thought of getting two soft toy for her. One Mickey & one Minnie, the toy is about a plam size. It look rather cute, but thinking might be a little childish for her. So i can knock back the idea to be the last. Then looking through the bottle, i saw they sell small tiny bottle with 1 hand made flower inside. So i decided to get that, still thinking that just this and that is too little.
So in the end i got 4 items for her -
1) A birthday card
2) 3 bottle container with a small flower inside. They sell single and in 3's But i choose the in 3's de.
3) A key chain (Cant really remember, what design i bought ("-_- )
4) A pair of Dog bone to be put for the hanging on the end of your hp. (With two phase stated on it. "a. I love you" "b. Forever" [not really sure is that it])
All the items i bought are rather tiny in size. Should be able to squeeze into the letter box the hole. After buying all this, i went home. Reached home at around 9pm, while on my way home. I called Desmond, who is working today. Check with him whether did she went swimming today. I manage to know that she went swimming with her friend. And they left couple of minutes ago, before i called. So picturing what they normally do after swim. Dinner and then chit chat all the way to pretty late.
Since she already moved to the block behind me. I am able to glance down, and see whether her room lights are on? If they are, means she is at home. If they are off, means she is not at home. In between 11.30pm - 11.55pm, i keep glancing down to the next block see whether she reach home already anot. Between the time 9pm - 11.30pm, i was busy writing her birthday card. And also squeezing star into the little bottle. Just the flower alone not very sweet and nice. So i take out small star which i done before. And squeeze it into the bottle, and arrange it nicely. So the star will act like the soil, with a flower glowing in it.
Dong Dong, It is around 12am. Took her birthday card & present. Went down to her lobby, at her lobby. I am thinking she should at somewhere nearby chit chatting with her friend. So should i pass her the present myself? Or just put it into her letter box, and go back to sleep. Wondering for a few minutes should i put it into the letter box. Reasons which let me think.
1) She might not open her letter box daily.
2) Her room mate might open the letter box instead of her.
3) What if that is not her letter box. (Because i have never asked her for her door number.)
So i finally decided. I will walk one round towards Tiong Bahru Plaza. If i meet her, then i will pass her the present myself. While i am walking down towards Plaza. Who knows, i saw her walking back home. So i surprised her, and say hi + shake her hand & wish her Happy Birthday. Then accompany her walk back home, this time i accompany her right to her door step. Cos usually i stop at the lobby, and head home after she take the lift. I went up with her, and walk to her doorstep. I think she is thinking that i was planning to go in and take a sit, "She mentioned that her room is still a little messy". Then i said to her my main purpose is to pass to you the present and card. Then after i pass her the things, then i left back to my home. No go in sit sit, who so crazy? Do house visit at around 1am?
