Good Friday
Some Memories
It was Good Friday, need not go to work. Can sleep at home, watch Tv and play computer games. Nope this are not my plans for today, pass few days saw Annie, Siew Hong. Then she date me out :p, nothing special just a date to go to her church to watch a dvd musical drama about Jesus. I already double comfirm with her, is the pastor doing any preaching? She told me he wont, thats why i wont mind going :)
I meet up with her at her neighbourhood, then we go had our breakfast before setting off. After our breakfast, we took a cab to her church. Cos she had a cell group meeting before the movie begins. Around 20 minutes later, we arrive at her church. Then she walked around looking for her cell group members. After we found them, she start introduce me to them. From what i notice, her cell group memebers are 2 family. Consist of the Pastor (dad), mum, 2 daughters and 1 son. Other then the Pastor family and Annie, there is one more teenage girl family in that group. But today only her daughter coming, the family have something on.
What i notice from cell group, last time i usually attend cell group at Balestier area. With some of my friends which i know them from a competition held by Seventh Day Church. I was pulled in to help one of my classmate who is a member of one of the Seventh Day Church. But my cell group didnt consist him, i join the group which i know from the bowling. I get to know them more, when i started to join them bowling on Saturday nights at Orchid Country Club near Yishun that area. Their cell group is usually held on Friday night at around 7.30pm / 8pm. At Pastor Danson house, the cell group consist of 2 family. The pastor family and Landy (my bowling friend) family. They have Pastor Danson, his wife, sometimes her younger daughter will join in. And from Landy side they have Dad, mum, Landy, his Sis, his gf Karen. Then one or two more teenagers are Cherry, Hannah and Rudy.
It had already been years i never contacted them, should be around 4years. 4years ago i still remember Cherry is alittle weak with some sickness. (Wonder how is she already) Hannah someone i miss, she went abroad to study. She should be back working already or further her studies to higher level. (Her english is very powerfull, talking to her seem like a american talking to a chinese. Some time she might need to repeat herself to let me get to know what is she talking.) Rudy, i remember that time when i know him. He is working under starhub, waiting for U to start. (Now wonder had he completed his studies.) Landy and Karen are pretty nice people, they helped me in many ways. I still remember the time when i just know them, i thought Landy was Karen brother. But after getting to know them better then i discover they are having a relationship. I been to their wedding at church, then i even remember seeing Karen pregnant. Their baby should be around 2 or 3 years old already. Haiz ;( I think i should find one Saturday or Friday night go to their church and see how are they. ...........................
Ok let me get back to Good Friday, after the introducing to member of her cell group. She make excuse to pastor that she will bringing me around her church. And then striaght to the hall. And wont be able to attend their short meeting. After walking around, we are sitted in the hall. Minutes later, they start off as usual. Some christians Songs, (remind me of the singing sector at Pastor Danson house during my cell group.) around half and hour later. The head Pastor of her church give his opening speech. Then start of the show, the show is about how jesus came about. His disciple, how he bring those suffering people back to their feet and his disciple bring death to him. Hope i didnt miss any part of it. During my cell group years ago i already heard a little bit of the story. Now with this show, i can roughly completed the picture of Jesus. It was around 1 and 1/2 hour of movie.
After the movie the pastor did some talking and even ask those new-comers to stand up. If they are prepare to welcome Jesus into their life. Got 1 or 2 of the new-comers stand up but i didnt. I believe the Pastor notice, thats why he keep saying i still know there are a few more new-comers, and they havnt stand up. Please feel free to stand up on your own will, if you think you are ready to accept Jesus into your life. He go on this a few times, after each time there was silence in the hall. This go on for around half and hour, then he do the closing prayers.
After the show, no where to go. Then i follow Annie to meet her friend at Orchard, another Annie. It was raining and i share Umbrella with Annie to John Little to meet up with her friend (Annnie). After meeting up with her they went in to buy some girls stuff, and i just proceed up to level 3 to shop for males shirt. A while later then we meet up and proceed to Centre Point there to have our lunch. After our lunch we meet up with Annie boyfriend and then a little more walking at Orchard. Then they decided to have Ma La Huo Guo, at Bugis. Then after our very full dinner we went to Mos burger, Annie and I get our dessert. Her strawberry Milkshake (forgotten is milkshake or what le?) and my Large Ice Milk Tea. Chit chat a while then Annie and Boyfriend go buy some stuff. Then another Annie and i do some chit chatting about our working enviroment.
After i finish my drink, we proceed to Arcade to meet her with the other two. Then Annie's boyfriend go play soccer games, and both Annie played photo hunt. Then me? Never play any long long game, just some aeroplane shooting. Then discover Soul Calibur 3 is out, a new game with very nice graphics. The sets are just beside the photo hunt, so i was looking at both sides :p Around 11pm we left the arcade and Home Sweet Home :p
