Last Day Of Traning AT CDA
Exciting Day
Guess why I rate it excited day, on 25th of July 2005. There was a guy and a lady from MHA (I found the lady quite cute) came to CDA to interview for a replacement for the guy who is going to ORD soon. They only pick Chinese guys to be interviewed. They ask quite a few question about me, example my education level, my family, my background, any criminal record and so on.
Then finally something which I hate most in interviews, I had been twice for interview. This is my third time, My first and second interview is for sign on Airforce Air-Defence. Wondering why I went 2 times, actually during my 1st time they call up to check on my graduation date (Course Completing Date). Because I stated i took the course for 2 years and 6 months. But the course is just 2 years only. Then I told them, it is because during my first year of NITEC, I got debared for examination. Due to my attendance didn’t meet up with the minimum percentage. Due to some personal problem, don’t want to get into. Felt so stupid, to get myself to skip lesson for something so stupid. Haiz….
My second interview nothing much went wrong, I remember a few questions during the interview. But the answers for the question still cant think or a very good answer. 1 important point in interview, never say negative points about yourself. Which I did, so stupid of me. I thought telling the truth is good but wont do you well in interviews. If you got negative points, try to change it yourself slowly. But remember don’t ever tell the guy / girl your negative points, cause you can change your own negative points if you know it yourself. Because everyone is born with negative points, no one is perfect. :) So do keep this point in mind, but don’t talk too “big” about yourself.
Ok let me get back to what is happening on 27th Wednesday, It is a day which I wouldn’t be coming back CDA again (I hope). Before the interview for MHA, I also been to another interview by 1 of the Major over there. About posting back to CDA to help him out, cause his clerk is going to ORD soon already. Sad day to me also, they are giving out Best Cadet and Best Practical to 2 person. I so wish and hope I can get Best Practical. During the course we did Powerpoint, Words and excel. I tried my best already but didn’t make it haiz. But instead my buddy make it :(, I suppose he just win me by a few marks only (So wish the instructor can tell me, how much I score and how much he score :p).
After giving out this two awards, the instructor start giving out the posting paper. I was very excited and also scared (Hope I wouldn’t get a far posting). I think my interview went through quite well, I get posted to MHA. The one and only who is being choose from 7 :). On this day, we only stay at CDA till around 12pm. Then we are free to leave :), all of them got their own programs.
But as for me I didn’t go anywhere, I go to CCK (Chua Chu Kang). Wondering whats so special at there. I go bai bai (pray) my grandma. CDA is at jurong so quite near CCK. So I go there to let my grandma know about it. I did visit her before I enlist, but didn’t make it on time. Didn’t know the temple close at 5pm, I reach there at around 6pm. When the monk is going to lock the door, I ask for a favour to let me go in and pray awhile. So after get my posting, since it is still early so I should drop by there to let my grandma know about it too.
After that I call up my Cousin (Wenjie and Xiuyun), cause they both are working near MHA (NHG – National Hospital Group). So I ask them to bring me there to take a look to see where is the building, which I need to report tomorrow at 8am. So I meet up with them after their work, we walked up a slope. Then I saw the entrance of the building. So I am all set tomorrow.
