SPD Farewell (SD SPD, DD Research, 2 SPE and SA SP) &
August Birthday Celebration (Esther, Siew Ling and Shih Chun)
Full + Sad Day
It is just my 14th day at MHA, this is the first Department lunch I am attending. Hmm I am doing great here, P2 brain had been successfully download everyone name in my department. But those NSF name I still not successfully downloaded in yet, but 1/3 of them have been install, because of the Sentosa outing. The event starts at 12pm, but before the event start. I was already at 3i Central Room 2, helping out. Keke, my helping out is rather easy. Just to look after the food, and things. Both Anderson and Bobby, they went to Novena Square to buy the Birthday cake and also some snacks.
When they got back, it is nearing 12pm already. Do not want to make the food cold, and not to let us felt hungry. Meng Kiat and I went up, to call everyone down. After everyone had arrived, we start the program. With a power point done by Bobby, very interesting work done by him. After the presentation, SD gave us a short speech on his leaving. Follow up after his speech SD start giving off present to two guy who were leaving (Shih Chun, Yeow Kiang and Desmond) SPD, after giving farewell present he give out present to those who have their birthday on August. After giving away present, it is SD’s turn to receive his farewell present. Dr Lal (DD Research) and Raymond Tan (DD OD) give SD his farewell present and a book of our autograph. All of us should had finished writing it, but some of them have yet write anything.
Finally present section is over, now is food. But Anderson does not let us have our lunch. He put up a game, known as sticker game. Those with have the least sticker will win the game. There were 2 or 3 present to be given to the least 3 :P Before the game start those who get the sticker already start sticking each other. There were active ones, running and hiding here and there sticking everyone. Some not so active, I am one of them. Just sat down and stick on those who was near me. After around 5 – 8min the game is over. Everyone start helping each other count and remove the stickers. Because not just only your front and leg got the sticker on. Even your back, hair or butt also will have the sticker on. Just like our SD, sticking almost everyone I suppose. He didn’t even notice that his back is almost full of stickers.
What time is it? It is FOOD time, all start to queue up and take turn to scoope our own share to eat : ) I just sat down there and wait for almost all have taken, then I go and the my that share : p After taken a little bit of each, I settle down and start eating. Yum Yum, the food taste good, especially the wrap up chicken : ) After my first plate, I continue with my second round. now with more chicken :-) so deliecious. Very long never eat such a delicious food already. The canteen food here, taste below average of outside food court.
After eating up the food, they all left. And we start clearing up the meeting room. After clearing we back to our office and they continue doing their work. And I continue doing my things. Look at the time, woo so fast already 2plus in the afternoon already. A few more hours to go, then Home Sweet Home.
