SPD SD Welcome Session
Moon Cake Festival
Farewell ( Joanne, Shi Hua,)
September Birthday Celebration (Yong Jie & Shi Hua )
Tiring + Enjoying + Full Day
So long never see me update my blog :p Nothing much to say about my life at MHA also. Just the normal daily routine that I have been doing:
- Clearing People who are coming to attend meeting with my supervisors
- Checking will there be carpark slots for them
- Booking of meeting room
- Meeting room not available, email the guy/girl who booked it see will they still be using the room.
- Setting up meeting room with necessary equipment or catering of food.
- Upload things into the laptop, which will be used for the presentation.
- Sending files
- Clearing telelift :-p
Wao August pass through so silently. Nothing much to let me blog it up :-p. I heard from Anderson, SPD every month will celebrate SPDians birthday during mid of every months. Provided that month someone had his/her birthday, after I look through the contact card which I have done for our new SD ( Which is requested he should have one, then his PA approached me to ask me do it). I discover every month there will be at least 1 person birthday. Keke, this means every month we will have goodies & yummy to eat. But we don’t celebrate just birthday only, Anderson will add in some more events. Example:
- Farewell
- Festive Season ( September Moon Cake Fest )
- Welcome ( Welcome for New SD )
They might have more events or other special events they celebrate. I will update into my blog, if I attend any. This is just my 35th Day at MHA. I still have hundreds of working days to pass at MHA, as my ns life. Let me get back to what happen on that day. As usual I proceed to work like what I did for the pass 34 days. After I reach, finish checking my mail. Anderson approached my supervisor Janice :), ask her if I can help him carry things back from cold storage. She says,: “ok”. So awhile later after we settle our things, we proceed down to Novena Square Cold Storage. We went there to buy the necessaries things for stocking up things that we might need it for later and future events. Wao he bought lots of soft drinks. That’s the only thing which I remember.
Wondering why? It is because; I carried 6 bottles of the soft drinks. … So heavy! If ask me walk a short distance then take bus sit down, it will be better. But imagine I each hand carry 3 each side walk up a slope back to MHA … Damn hot and tiring, some more I still wear long sleeve shirt. Wao horrible weather, so sunny! Finally make it back to MHA, pass through the scanning area from the security. Back to office, then into the pantry to keep the things up.
Finally, settle back down in front of my computer. Looking at the time, it is already 11.30am. Wao it is almost lunch, settle down in front of my computer, wondering what I should do during lunch time. Just now while walking up the slope, chat with Anderson. Found out later he will be going out with Janice to around Orchard. To buy different type of moon cake, their last stop will be at Raffles. Gai Gai ( Going out ) with Janice :p, I also want to go. But they didn’t ask me to join along. So better don’t kpo :-(
Before they move out, they ask me want to tag along, I hesitate awhile. Then ask them is it ok if I tag along. Janice says: “no problem, if you want.” Happily in my heart, I go with them. Or else almost every time stay in office or go canteen eat, very sianz. After Hazel ( My cousin ) quit from NHG, no one else to accompany me go out eat lunch. So I usually stay in office or go eat at canteen.
We proceed to Novena Square Burger King for our lunch ( Janice is not eating, she will just have her two piece of bread as lunch :( ), but Burger King is too pack. So we change to Long John Silver to have our lunch. After our lunch, we bought a box of moon cake at Novena Square. Then we take train from Novena to Orchard. After reaching orchard, we proceed to Isetan to buy dry ice. After we bought the dry ice, we walk to Swensens located next to Hello @ Orchard. They bought Ice-Cream moon cake from Swensens. Look yummy, hope I can get my chance to taste it during the party. Finish buying the second box, we took taxi to Raffles, then they go buy the famous Raffles moon cake. But too our disappointment, the moon cakes are all sold out :-(.
Before moon cake festival, I keep hearing from them. About this brand, many people queuing up to buy it. But haiz to my mishap, I don’t have the luck to taste it. We need one more box, so they two take awhile to decide which brand they should buy. Then they decided to take cab back to Novena Square and buy. So we took back to Novena Square, Anderson and I wait in cab. Janice goes in and buys. They each only can claim 1 cab fare. So this is the second taxi trip, so we cannot take a third taxi for claiming. After around 30 minutes, Janice is back. She got hold up, because credit card machine slow in respond to approve.
We take the cabby to the drop off point at NPPK outside. Then from there we go back to office. After reaching office, I look at the time. Wao it is already 2.45pm. After settling down in front of my computer, Anderson approaches me again. This time ask Bobby and me to move those necessary things down to 3i Central Room 3. The necessary things are needed, for the later welcome session + birthday + Moon cake Fest. Then we help out Anderson to set up the things, just get the things he need and pass to him. After finish decorating, wao it look fantastic. Now I know why he need dry ice for.
The moon cake we brought back. Also being display out and cut in pieces. It really look wonderful, sad thing our Profession Photographer ( Shi Hua ). So don’t have any pictures to share during this occasion. Wondering why no farewell party? It is because the ladies, are on leave. So it is just a Welcome Session for SD and a birthday session to Yong Jie. We didn’t buy any cake, so we just took one ice cream moon cake for Yong Jie. Putting a candle on the moon cake, that will be Yong Jie birthday cake. After everyone start to dig in, when I turn to see any ice-cream moon cake left? WAO !!! Empty plate … Didn’t get a chance to taste it Haiz. No Raffles moon cake now also No Ice Cream moon cake for me :-(
Haiz, never mind I eat quite a lot of the durian moon cake. But I heard from them, not a lot like that durian moon cake. They prefer the 100% durian moon cake, having the durian meat inside, which I also never try before. Next year I sure will suggest they get the Raffles moon cake, Swensens Ice-cream moon cake and the 100% Durian moon cake. And I sure will get a taste of them :p Or else had to get from my own pocket each box around 30 bucks :-( that will be around 90bucks :-(. Lolz think until so far already, 1 year later :-p. That consider not far already, I even thought of choosing my junior with Janice by my side :p ( Like my senior choose me with Janice at his side ). That will be 1 year and 8 months later :-p
During the Gai Gai, I have a little conversation with Janice. Before I come in, she has just been here for 6months only. But as a Hase Officer, they will be staying here at least 2 years. Then I check with her will she be post out before I ORD :-p ( So fast ORD, 1 year and 8 months later … ), then she told me she might already posted to another place. Or she might stay a little longer more if boss want her to stay ( Hope boss make her stay, so she will be here with me till I ORD ). I really enjoy every day come here sit down look right into my computer, and I can see her. It is because she just sits behind me :-0. She really makes my day more relax, even if I am sick or bad mood. Just take a few glance at her, will make me feel better. Whenever I glance at her if she sees me, she will smile back :-) so sweet :-)
You people out there will feel, this guy is crazy one. Love a girl who is so old then me ( Hmm 6 years wont sound old to me :-p ), this is not love lahz. This is sought of like, example during school days. If you don’t like the teacher, this means the rest of your years. Whatever the teacher teach you in which subject, you sure won’t do well in it. At least 90% of the students won’t do well in the subject if they don’t like the teacher. Put the same rule, between supervisor as teacher and student as you, you will get what I mean. Ok I think I talk enough for today.
