IDG 3 ( Bowling )
Tiring + Sad Day

Finally, I waited for weeks or can say a month plus for this IDG Bowling. I already very very long no take part in Bowling Competition. Since after my Secondary School days, I already long time no play bowling competition. I take part twice during secondary, playing inter school. After my Sec 4 GCE ‘N’ level, can’t make it to Sec 5. Sec 4 will be my last year representing school in Bowling. Almost 5 to 6 years I didn’t play any competitive bowling. Only did play some for leisure, with my ITE friend. We played at Grassroots Club, their bowling having a package of 10 games for 15bucks.

There are usually 2 to 4 of us, each play around at least 5 games. When there is just me and my buddy around, we each take 1 package. Means we did 10 games each, the 3 of them have their personal ball. I am the only one without :-( so sad. We usually bowl from 11am to around 3 or 4pm. Then after that we will have our lunch at Ang Mo Kio. Ok let me get back to the IDG which I am waiting for. During the weekend I message Anderson asking him, do I need to bring any extra cash to pay for the warm up game and the IDG. He say don’t need.

Morning when I reach office, settle down looking at my mail. Finish doing everything that I need to do. Before I set off for my IDG warm up. Which Anderson planned? ( Why so serious got warm up? Because we are ranked 2nd for IDG points, just 1 point away from 1st ). So he hopes we can strive first in IDG points. After finish everything which I need to do. I check the time again, hmm still early 10.15am only. So I wonder to Bobby cabinet chit chat there. Waiting for time to pass, times up 11am already. We set off, 4 of us squeeze into Zhi Yang Car and we head for CSC Star Bowl for our warm up match.

During the warm up, I bowl like what I usually did last time. We warm up 2 games, then it we finish the warm around 1pm. So we decided to lunch in, so we order food at the bowling alley. And Fried Rice, yawnzzzz!!! Wondering why I yawnz, we order 8 plates together 2 plate chicken chop 3 plate Fried Kway Teow. Then chicken chop came out first, after that is the Fried Kway Teow. Then the 3 of us carry on waiting for our fried rice. Waited for quiet long, because aunty started to prepared packets of food for those phone orders ( She said so we not sure is it true a not lohz ). Then Anderson start complaining to aunty how come prepared for those coming later then us. That’s where I get to know those are phone orders.

Then aunty can’t take it, after preparing one more packet finish, she start preparing for us. Then Anderson start saying, wondering will she prepare a 2 person share instead of a 3 person share. It is because she is cooking 3 person share together. Hawkers always cook together and put lesser ingredients, 3 people to 2 people. Then they can save money, they receive 3 person share amount and they just need to cook for two person share. Lolz Anderson so … But don’t blame him, what he say is true. After we got our share, Bobby and I finish our rice in a short while. Then we start waiting for the bowling to start.

Around half and hour, people start coming in. When everyone arrived, we took team photos. After every team had taken their photo, IDG begin with 15min warm up throw. I did 2 throws, jus see my strength and skill still there. Boom… When I did my first throw, I felt pain on my arm. The part which is in-between my palm and elbow hurts. I think during my just now warm up game I over do ( But that’s what I usually bowl like ). Then I think should be long time no play so many rounds. My strength already drops lower then last time. Last time bowl 5 – 10 games without any problem. Haiz IDG consists of two games. Both game I did rather badly, both below 100 haiz.

Last time I usually did at least 100 and an average of 115 – 120. But now what happen to me less then my minimum. I had set every month I must go and bowl at least 3 – 4 games. To get back my skill, I bowl with house ball. So whenever I am free or got the money to bowl, I will sure go and practice my throw. So sad my bowling skills, dropped so badly. Don’t say liaoz, the more I say. The sadder I get :-(
